The Bedford Women’s Club currently has 28 Interest Groups for members' participation.

2017-2018 Interest Group Details

Bicycling: Groups of members take periodic bike rides.

Book Group:  Meetings are the second Tuesday of every month from 1 to 3 PM.  The selections are collected from local libraries and are readily available.

Bowling:  Bowling times with friends!

Bridge:  Club members may sign up to substitute in the current bridge groups or begin a new group.

Bunco:  Group plays, eats and chats on the 3rd Monday of each month at 1:00 PM at members' homes.  Everyone chips in $5 for cash prizes.

Cooking with Friends:  Small groups meet to cook and sample, and sometimes check out restaurants.

Couples' Sunday Brunch:  Join other couples for Sunday brunch at area restaurants.  

Couples' Dinner Group: Couples get together in small groups for dinner at members' homes.

Crocheting: Christina Bator 

Cultural Events: Groups take trips to museums, concerts, and theatre events.

Genealogy: Join a group to discover your ancestors and history. 

Hiking: Hiking in small groups in area trails and mountains.

Knitting:  Knitting meets on the first Wednesday of the month from 1 to 3 at the Bedford Library in the Richmond Room.  Knitters and crocheters of all levels of ability are welcome.

Lunching Out:  All are invited to join us for a third Tuesday of the month lunch out to discover new spots and enjoy old favorites.  Lunch is 11:45 am and Dutch treat.  

Mah Jongg: Two versions of the game are played:
    National Mah Jongg League version
    Military Style

Poker: Group gets together and plays poker!

Rummikub: Group meets the First Tuesday each month at 1 PM at Carlyle Place  for Rummikub games. 

Scrabble: The library is booked for the 2nd Monday and the 4th Friday of each month for Scrabble from 1- 4 and anyone who loves words please join us - come for one game or the whole afternoon - all skill levels. 5,000 new words have been added to the Scrabble dictionary this year - keep
up with the times!

Snowshoeing: We will snowshoe in and around Bedford and beyond.

Tennis: Tennis Chair will round up a match!

Travel: Do you have the travel bug? Do you like travel, and dream of exotic places? Discover the world together by sharing experiences, videos and conversation!

Watercolor Workshop: Meets weekly on Monday mornings to paint together.

​Walking Group: Meets Monday thru Friday for one hour for a 3 to 4 mile brisk walk.
